PYRAMIDS: The Biggest Power Plants Ever Made and How They Worked

No king has ever been found inside the great pyramids of Giza. They were never tombs. They were power plants.

No king has ever been found inside any of the three great pyramids of Giza. Not one body. So what were they built to do?

This book makes the case that the pyramids were never tombs. They were power plants, the largest machines of the ancient world, built to draw energy from the earth and the sky and send it out along the Nile.

Walk through the Great Pyramid chamber by chamber and see what the tomb story can’t explain: a granite box set in place before the walls went up, too wide to fit through the passage, and empty from the day it was found. A room lined entirely in quartz-bearing granite, the stone that makes electric current under pressure. Sealed shafts fitted with copper pins, a salt crust found in one room alone, and a hall of fifty-four matched slots that no one has ever explained.

Then there is the water and the sky: a lost branch of the Nile, found by satellite radar, that once reached the foot of the plateau, a Sphinx whose walls were worn by water, a gold-capped point nearly five hundred feet up in the charged desert air, and granite obelisks tipped with gold, standing in matched pairs at the gates of the great temples.

Then follow the same pattern around the world, to pyramids in Sudan, Peru, Mexico, and China, and to the great drought that turned a green valley into desert and left the machines silent.

Every measurement and study behind the argument is named in the text and listed at the back, so you can check it yourself. Where the reading goes beyond the evidence, the book says so plainly.

PYRAMIDS is speculative nonfiction about ancient engineering, lost knowledge, and the question the textbooks stopped asking: if this was a tomb, where is the body?
